Why we offer this service

  • Texas has the highest rate of uninsured patients among US states
  • Women without insurance tend to get prenatal care later.
  • Late prenatal care can increase morbidity and mortality of pregnant women

What we would like to do to help

  • Lower the incidence of birth complications due to lack of early prenatal care by providing early evidence based care
  • Promote healthy decision-making with regards to pregnancy

How we got started

  • In January 2021, a small group met to discuss the common desire to help pregnant women that do not have affordable access to early prenatal care. The goal was to develop a program that allowed patients direct access to their physician, based on the direct primary care model.  In January 2022 this dream became a reality.
